Virginia is a leader and advocate for women’s voices, environmental stewardship, and sustainable innovation. She graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Economics and a minor in German language, where she served as Senior Class President and Captain of the Varsity Track team. These experiences reflect her commitment to representing women’s interests and fostering collaboration.
Virginia is deeply passionate about improving the environment, studying behavior change, and challenging traditional consumption models. Her work at Rent the Runway in sustainable fashion has further fueled her interest in empowering individuals to make meaningful contributions to sustainability. She draws inspiration from women who expand our knowledge of the planet, enabling us to measure and respond to its rapid changes.
As a member of the WINGS junior board, Virginia is excited to support and learn from the women explorers who are breaking boundaries in research and discovery. She sees her role as an opportunity to champion the values of exploration, curiosity, and action, while fostering a more equitable future for all.
