Three-time WINGS honoree Kate Harris traveled 10,000 kilometers through 10 countries across the Silk Road – on a bicycle – and then wrote a book about it. In it, she explores the political, cultural and environmental history of the places and people she encounters while peddling for 10 months through some of the remotest places on earth.
