It is with deep sadness that I announce to the WINGS community the passing of WINGS Flag carrier Dianne Aigaki. She was a noted author, explorer, artist and communicator. You can read about her 2007 Flag expedition on the Tibetan Plateau in our Flag Expedition section.
You can also see her Ted talk Connecting Across Cultures here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofX5vInwJGA
She led inspirational tours to Tibet to paint and study plants through her Dream of the Turquoise Bee Tours. She inspired many people around the world and her loss will be deeply felt.
